"Dreaming" is a response to feeling awe and wonder while lying on the ground and staring at the clouds. The experience reminds me of the magical feeling I used to have when I first began my photographic practice and still used a darkroom.  My favorite part was when the latent image appeared in the developing tray.

While creating "Dreaming," I encouraged myself to play and explore with form, color, and lighting, attempting to recapture some of the darkroom magic without expecting a predetermined outcome.
